Classic Hummus with Microgreens & Crackers
Smooth, creamy hummus drizzled with olive oil.
Topped with vibrant microgreens and served with crunchy crackers.

🔪 Ingredients
- 1 can (400g) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 2 tbsp tahini
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil (plus extra for drizzling)
- 1/4 tsp ground cumin (optional)
- Salt to taste
- 2–3 tbsp cold water (for texture)
- Fresh microgreens (e.g. mustard, radish, red cabbage)
- Crackers for serving
🍳 Instructions
- Add chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, cumin, and salt to a food processor.
- Blend until smooth, adding water a spoonful at a time to reach desired consistency.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
- Spoon into a shallow bowl, swirl the top with a spoon, and drizzle with olive oil.
- Top generously with fresh microgreens and serve with crackers.
🌱 Serving Suggestion
Serve as a starter or light lunch. Perfect with crackers, pita bread, or veggie sticks. Garnish with a sprinkle of black sesame or paprika for extra flavour and colour.
